On April 15, he sent us a brief email and tried video calling. It didn't work.
When he spoke about his wallet, he was speaking about how he lost his wallet at temple housing and we had to call mission office to recover it.
Elder Ian Stimpson:
just wanted to let you know we found my wallet. nothing was taken out of it.
I will be getting on later to try and video call. maybe this time we will have a better computer. I don´t think the internet is a problem I think it was the computer. It was a very old computer and looked like it was maybe 10 years old.
Today, April 22- he just emailed us and seemed to be unable to say goodbye since there still are issues with old computers.
Elder Ian Stimpson:
my weeks just keep getting better. but found out my trainer is leaving to panama after waiting 7 months for his visa. so I will be getting a new trainer my next transfer. I am predicting that it will be another latino. I can sort of teach a lesson of course I need help from my trainer elder veloz. But yesterday I found out that I can´t call my parents on holidays which made me a little upset. I said a little prayer to see what to do. I ended up not trying to call. but today I found out that plenty of missionaries went ahead and called their families anyway. but other than that today I saw a mango the size of my head. I had no clue that they could grow that big. I also met someone from ohio we didn´t talk much because he was just driving by but it was still pretty cool. but its cool to just lay in bed at night and see a lizard or gecko run across the wall or find a dead cocroach laying on the ground in front of my bed.
