Tropical Storm watch

Last Monday, we weren't able to talk with Elder Stimpson or hear from him via email.  Instead, we received an email from mission office:

Dear Parents, Bishops, and Stake Presidents,

We are anticipating the arrival of Tropical Storm Dorian, which could become a hurricane later in the week. It is about 900 miles from the Dominican Republic and is moving westwardly. It is expected to arrive Wednesday or Thursday with winds that could reach hurricane strength.  All missionaries have been contacted and should be prepared with sufficient food, water, and other supplies. If necessary, missionaries will be moved to ensure their safety.  We will keep you updated as conditions change.

Sincerely,

President and Sister Santos

Domincan Republic Santo Domingo West Mission

The forecast track of Tropical Storm Dorian.

Meanwhile, pray for people in South and islands that they can remain safe and sound.
